In this regard, I aim to showcase the exceptional musical abilities of a prominent A-list celebrity whose work has resonated with audiences worldwide.

Exhibits

Building Virtual Worlds is a New-Form of Self-Expression

I aim to convey the message that creating virtual worlds does not require advanced technology or specialized knowledge, a point that I seek to underscore through an exhibit. The central idea behind this exhibit is to allow visitors to explore the virtual worlds that others, just like them, have created using various software services. To this end, visitors are encouraged to come up on stage and engage with the exhibit, facilitating an immersive and interactive experience.

Scared to Death MOPOP

The exhibit developed for MOPOP was designed to highlight the pervasive influence of horror movies on society. In many ways, each exhibit serves as a visual narrative that conveys a story. The posters, bus wraps, and other promotional material displayed in the exhibit were intentionally designed to allow the viewer to identify the featured horror movie without relying on textual cues. The shows offer a detailed and nuanced portrayal of the horror movie genre by leveraging the Spot Color technique and incorporating iconic symbols such as Michael Meyer and Scream. This approach effectively extends the exhibit’s reach, bringing the content to a broader audience and engaging people on the streets.

Typography

Typography is a design discipline emphasizing textual elements, typically eschewing images in favor of quotes and words. As a designer, I was drawn to this approach because it offered an opportunity for introspection, allowing me to reflect on my personal identity and professional goals. Through these projects, I was able to pause and contemplate how I wished to be perceived by others, using typography as a means of self-expression.

Cosmic Collection

Drawing on my deep interest and expertise in digital marketing and graphic design, I developed a new product centered around the theme of zodiac signs. The resulting offering, the Cosmic Collection eyeshadow palette, incorporates unique color schemes corresponding to each zodiac sign. My primary goal was to showcase the product’s design and functionality, specifically highlighting its potential to resonate with social media audiences. Through this approach, I aimed to leverage my digital marketing and graphic design knowledge to create a compelling product that would appeal to a broad audience.

Direct Mail

Life Straw

Direct mail has long been recognized as a highly effective means of personalized customer communication. Given the limited time frame in which to capture their attention and generate interest, it is critical to develop direct mail campaigns that are both engaging and informative. To this end, I created the Life Straw direct mail project, which features an interactive element that allows the recipient to experience the product’s functionality firsthand. By leveraging powerful design tools such as InDesign and Illustrator, I created an insert that can be pushed down or pulled up to reveal how Life Straw operates. The interactive insert showcases the product’s features and benefits and provides valuable information about how it can be utilized in various outdoor scenarios, such as hiking and camping.

I developed two posters to complement and enhance the viewer’s experience as part of a broader exhibit series. The first poster is a captivating exhibit preview, offering a glimpse of what will come. The second poster provides a more technical perspective, delving into the software used to create the exhibit and highlighting how creators can leverage this technology to achieve their artistic visions. Together, these two posters represent essential moving parts of the display, providing critical context and insights for viewers.

Mood Boards

In the branding world, mood boards’ importance cannot be overstated. These visual collages of images, text, and colors provide a powerful means of conveying ideas and concepts to clients. By presenting these boards as a mockup of my branding mood boards, I sought to showcase my creative vision and expertise in capturing the essence of a brand’s identity and values. I carefully selected images and colors to communicate the client’s desired aesthetic and brand message, offering a compelling snapshot of what their company can represent.
