2020 was possibly the worst year of our lives, collectively we can all agree. It was mentally draining, super political, quarantine, CVOID-19 – it was bad. However, now that 2021 has started, I think we are all relieved in a way that we can now restart and have a better mindset.
For 2021, I have a couple of goals – I want to achieve, and hopefully by the end of the year – I’ll make a recap post to see if any of these were accomplished and how I did it!
2021 Vision Board Goals! Ideas and How to Achieve Your Plans!
My main goal for 2021 is to do more artistic projects. I love creating, creating, and creating. Some goals I have are to:
- Start my podcast; I’m very excited about this because it’ll allow me to talk about things I’m currently going through as a post-grad student but also just free-range topics. I don’t want to fit into one niche as much as I’m told not to do that. Something the everyday person can relate to.
- Attempt to reach financial freedom; it’s been an ongoing journey but I want to pay off my student loans so I won’t have to worry in the future.
- Go on more adventures; I want to see where I can go and see more of Long Island and what it has to offer.
- Have better relationships; I’m in a pretty good place regarding romantic and platonic relationships but there’s always room for improvement. I want to grow closer to the important people in my life.
- Get healthier; We all have this goal, you see those magazines “get your summer body and lose that holiday weight now!” I personally want to start my fitness journey because ever since my freshmen year of college – it’s just gone downhill and I want to feel comfortable in my body. Time is of the essence and I don’t want to waste my youth worrying about why I hated my body, etc.
- Work even harder on my career goals; I’ve worked a lot on my freelancing & in-house career of graphic designing and digital marketing but 2021 has me wanting to push that even further and stepping out of my comfort level to see how I can have a successful career.
- GOOD VIBES ONLY; I have this on my vision board because again 2020 was just god awful. I want nothing but positive influences and happiness in my life. I think social media and the media (along with outside influences) can have you think negatively about the world and what’s going on in it 24/7. I want to cut back on watching the news and social media to only an hour or even less per day.
Let me know what your goals for 2021 are in the comments below!

How to Create Your Own Vision Board in a Few Basic Steps!
Creating vision boards are my favorite thing to do because it allows you to really organize your thoughts and goals to see where you want your life going and what aspects you want to improve on.
The first step is to write out what you want this year to look like. Can be your phone’s note app, a post-it (what I used), anything. Put your goals in a word or two, nothing too detailed or crazy just yet. These goals can be career-related, relationship-related, financial freedom, literally anything. The amount of goals is totally up to you, there’s no limit.
The second step is to gather a bunch of images and/or quotes through magazines, Google, etc! I made mine through Canva for a quick easy image. You’re going to then, place the images and/or quotes however layout you like.
The last step is to hang it up somewhere you’re going to see it every day, post it wherever, put it as your home screen. Work on every goal you have. Great rewards come to those who work hard for what they want!
I hope you guys liked this blog post and I hope 2021 is very good to you and your loved ones! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this!
